ABOUT US
Welcome to Hendfact Henderson Fuerza Activa. Since our founding in 2009, we have been dedicated to supporting and empowering Hispanic communities in Franklin, Granville, Vance, Warren and Wake counties in North Carolina. This 2024, we proudly celebrate our 15th year of continuous service, promoting active participation and social justice in rural settings.
MISION
Our mission is to inform and motivate the active participation of a free and fearless Hispanic community. We are committed to encourage reflection and action in the face of social injustices that violate the rights of our community, promoting equity, justice and collective empowerment to achieve lasting, positive change.

Our vision is to build a united, empowered and active Hispanic community, capable of transforming social injustices into opportunities for equity and justice, preserving its cultural roots and contributing to the collective well-being in a rural North Carolina setting.

SERVICES
Key Work Areas
Community Health
Objective: Improve access to health services for the Hispanic community by addressing linguistic and cultural barriers.
Strategies: Organize health days, prevention workshops and awareness campaigns.
Education and Training
Objective: Promote access to continuing education and training for adults and youth.
Strategies: Implement literacy programs, English classes and skills development workshops.
Advocacy and Rights
Objective: To defend the rights of the Hispanic community, ensuring its representation and participation in civic and legal matters.
Strategies: Provide legal advice, civil rights workshops and awareness campaigns.
Culture and Traditions
Objective: Preserve and promote the cultural traditions of the Hispanic community.
Strategies: Organize cultural festivals, community events and cultural exchange programs.

Our organization, Hendfact Henderson Fuerza Activa, serves the Franklin, Granville, Vance, Warren and Wake areas of North Carolina. We are dedicated to supporting and empowering Hispanic communities in these counties by promoting active participation and social justice in each of these regions. These regions present unique characteristics and specific needs that guide our community work, being part of rural environments.

Strategic Objectives
- Increase community participation in activities and events organized by Hendfact.
- Establish community committees in each county to facilitate communication and coordination of activities.
- Develop a network of resources and services available to the Hispanic community.

Strategic Alliances
We generate strategic alliances with governmental entities, non-governmental organizations, educational institutions and community leaders to strengthen our work and expand the scope of our programs and services.

We will implement a continuous monitoring and evaluation system to measure the impact of our actions and adjust our strategies as necessary, thus ensuring the effectiveness and sustainability of our efforts.
